Dynisty Entertainment exists to create music and entertainment that inspires the next generation.
We do this by assembling together a team of passionate individuals who love what they do; and equip them with the leadership skills to empower others to do the same.
The following four pillars will help us to measure the appropriateness of our decisions:
After a year of round robin matches with banks and potential investors Dynisty Entertainment is successful in securing an Angel Investment to fully kick-start the business. Emmanuel assumes the role of Creative Director and begins to assemble a team. A new set of recording projects begin.
Emmanuel enrols in the MBA programme at NMMU (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) business school to sharpen his business acumen and develop as a leader. A partnership is formed with West Wind Solutions to create a Strategic Business Unit called iSignMusic.com, an online music distribution portal. Dynisty prepares for its first official release of music products.
The company begins restructuring. The year is dedicated to research and analysis of the music industry, locally and internationally. Contacts are made and the company signs a publishing deal with David Gresham Music. Emmanuel Aboagye secures a personal loan to use as seed funding for the business. Partnerships are then formed with local recording studios and other artists in the East London area. Recoding process begins to grow the Dynisty Publishing House music catalogue.
Online website reaches 200, 000 hits and the Potters Pass EP is played on various radio stations. Dynisty Entertainment seeks investor finance to no avail. Jarrod Saunders resigns as a member.
February: after attending a Jay Z concert at Johannesburg's Coca Cola dome and hearing the story of how they (Shawn Carter, Damon Dash and Kareem Biggs) created Roc-a-Fella Records Emmanuel returns to East London inspired to take on the challenge and together with Jarrod Saunders they start the company Dynisty Entertainment.
